THE NATIONAL ORGANISATION OF INDIAN GORKHAS
Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh was established in 2001 with Mrs. Dil Kumari Bhandari (Ex. M.P. Lok Sabha) as the founding President.
Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh is the only national organisation of Indian Gorkhas and its member include people from all walks of life.
The Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh is committed to the vision of a Gorkha society in India, recognized and accepted as a dignified, cultured and patriotic society at par with any other civilized modern Indian society enjoying the full rights and privileges enshrined in the Indian Constitution.
The Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh tasked to bond each and every member of the Gorkha community in a national, unified body through systematic planning and orientation, thereby strengthening and guiding them in all aspects of their social, cultural, educational, economic and political growth.
The unveiling of Saheed Durga Malla statue by Hon'ble Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on 17th December 2004 in the Parliament. The statue donated by Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh.
